But anyways, we seriously need to get this shit found pronto. I almost feel like everyone is a step behind or something. I wish we had some type of clue to lead us to the fucking missing video file. Well actually i guess there is a clue. Seeing as how its a GX file, it would match all the labeling going on with the videos on the dvd would it not??? and if that IS the case, has anyone found a hidden video file on their dvd where you have to use a username/password to access it?? someone help us out here, were twistin in the wind with no help whatsoever….

Now on to the GX file: Is it possible that the videos on the DVD files section are also GX files? Maybe the Chuai station videos in fact do show TIDO’s invasion, and one of the videos, which shows teddy and what may have happened to him, got separated from the rest.
But I have every doubt they’re going to include that video in the DVD case. When the sequel comes out, however…

A) I don’t think any of us have a clue as to what Aladygma is. It’s either a new marketing campaign for some sort of… alien movie or supernatural event or something, I dunno.
B) The biggest thing in the viral marketing so far is Teddy. He’s still missing and now lots of people are out to search for him. And guess what. Jamie ain’t one of them. She’s actually got a new boyfriend now, Snyder (sounds like a douche, but hey that means they’re meant for each other). She’s got a site up called Jamie and Snyder, but there hasn’t been any updates since she created it.
C) The Strip thing is funny, but yes, stupid. Now elementary kids are going to start becoming whores.
Actually, there is a new development. On the missingteddyhanssen.blogspot.com website, alyse mentions something about a missing usgx file. Well apparently, she wasnt blowing smoke up our asses. There was a response to one of her comments in her blog about this missing file being the answer to all of her prayers, and she has found it.
Now she isnt the only one who has found this missing video/picture file.

This website is IG for sure, but the problem with it is, there is a username and password locking the website up. NOBODY has the username or password. So if someone in here is an expert at cracking codes, please by all means, CRACK THIS FUCKER!!!! EVERYONE is trying to figure this shit out so we can get some more answers. So lets fuckin do it. Dennis over at Cloverfieldclues.com has put the word out that the first person who finds the password and contacts him with it, and it works, he will be sending out an EXTREMELY limited edition Cloverfield Dvd. He didnt post this on his website, i had to go to unforums to check it out. So lets fuckin get crackin people. Somebody needs to figure this shit out. Ok, so the website http://www.usgx8810b467233px.com/ Is now open. There is no username or password as of yet, just type in whatever you want to on that screen, and then whenever it takes you to the unauthorized page, just go to the browser bar, and delete the word UNAUTHORIZED, and replace it with the word ACCESS. It takes you right into the site, and lets you peep out the missing GX files that ALYSE is talkin about. the pics are sweet as hell, but it dont answer much, other than it was OBUM that fucked up the Chuai station. Im assuming that there will be updates to the website, just like there was on the Jamie n Teddy webpage. Check this shit out though guys!! I fuckin knew we were missing something here..

According to those coorordinates on the bottom left of the GX files those pics were definately taken below the Chuai platform. The only discrepency is the depth.. it’s 6 MILES!!!the ONLY point in ANY ocean that reaches that depth is the Marianas trench… but that’s Megatrons domain now….

I think that once you go into it that way, you will be able to do it on your own from that point on. Lemme try to do it again, just to make sure im not makin you guys do somethin completely fruitless, lol.

It was probably an early glitch in the site, and you were quick enough to exploit it before they patched it up, K1NG. The people that made the site likely didn’t realize that problem until now, so they changed the URL to something more complex so people wouldn’t get in that easy. Now, it’s probably going to have several digits in it that make it impossible to memorize.
Ah, we’ll just have to go through all the relevant shit and put in what works. Maybe it’s the case designate number? Because here’s something interesting:
When you watch the first few moments of the movie, you’ll see the upper-right corner has some kind of code written across it, and it begins with USGX or something like that. Definitely the same abbreviation used here.

Exactly, they didn’t experience the viral marketing campaign. This guy I know hasn’t got the slightest clue about CF, hasn’t seen the movie, and yet STILL he thinks he’s one to open his mouth about it. If you haven’t been tuned in to the marketing campaign, CF will make just about as much sense as 4chan does, and that site, may I say, is just plain SCREWED UP.
Now, the people that think there are two monsters in the movie, they’re just plain stupid. Come on, the freaking thing was too big for someone to tell if it was larger at one given point in the movie than it was in another. Hell, if they were left in charge of naming the monster, we’d probably know it as, “Parasity the giant baby searching for its mother.” They shouldn’t be talking at all if they aren’t going to bring up words of sensible logic, like that dipshit OMGSTN on YT.

being a film major i believe that the movie (cloverfield or any other) should be enjoyable by anyone wether they were part of the viral marketing or not. a good movie should be good when my kids pick it up and enjoy it even though the viral marketing is done and nowhere to be in sight. So if this movie is only good with the viral marketing… the film makers failed…
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the movie and so did most of my friends who were nowhere near the VM so I don’t think Bad Robot failed…
You make an interesting point, there, Rafa. A film shouldn’t be about what goes on when the camera wasn’t on (or there). But that’s what made Cloverfield so unique is that it’s got SO much of a backstory that not a lot of people know about right now. Hopefully the sequel (or perhaps even prequel) will do some explaining of the Cloverfield incident, making the story as a whole more enjoyable for the ones who don’t use the internet very often.

Rafa is right in part about the movie only being a REAL success if it was made so that EVERYONE could enjoy it, viral marketing or not. In that sense, i still think that Bad Robot was successful in making this film. Thats the majority of the reason why so much of the Viral experience was left out of this one, because if they put in all this new info like slusho, tagruato, tido, ganu yoshida, ect.. The mainstream audience would be like WHAT THE FUCK?! Thats just way too much information to throw at your regular everyday movie goer for sure. Now, I personally think that this flick was half intended for the mainstream audience, but it was mostly intended for us die-harders, who are gonna turn this movie into a CULT CLASSIC. Thats what makes movies legendary, seriously. Does anybody think that Army Of Darkness was an awesome movie? Of course we do. But it sucked ass at the box office, because hardly anybody saw the first two evil dead movies, so they didnt have a clue what was goin on. But the die hard fans did. They followed that fucker from evil dead 1 and fell in love with Ash and his corny bullshit. Now granted, times have changed and the way of the cult classic flick has gone in a different direction, but all the elements are still there. Only with Cloverfield, the word Cult needs to be replaced with a different word, expressing what kind of a MASSIVE scale this cult is. The viral marketing was GENIUS, because Abrams knew that even if the mainstream audience didnt get too into the previews and wanting to see the movie, all of US would be dying to catch a glimpse of it before its release. Putting the trailer in front of Transformers just insured that the size of Cloverfield’s cult following was in the millions, so regardless of what the mainstream thought or felt about the movie, they would still smash the box office with little or no effort.
It was a beautiful movie, no matter if you were a first time cloverfielder, or a bloodied up knuckles in the dirt, muddy in the trenches DIE HARD FUCKIN CLOVERFIELD HEAD. They left all the “good viralness” out of the movie for the most part for them, but they left little easter eggs for US, and that just keeps US wanting more, which is why the viral is starting back up, ready to kick the tires and light the fires for the fuckin sequel. I mean, we salivate at the mouth over three new pictures from the Chuai incident. And even more so, now that the movie HAS been released, the Cult following that it originally had before the release has grown at least three or four times the size of what it was, because of the people that went and saw it who never heard of it before, fell in love with it, and now they are on here just like us waiting for the next installment of Cloverfieldy goodness.
I honestly dont know how off topic i went, and i really dont care man. I just wanted to analyze how big this thing has become since we all started this thing when it was just teeny, and how big its going to be in the near future, cuz of all of us. We all kick ass, and we have all made this fuckin movie a bonified CULT FUCKING CLASSIC MOVIE. It will go down as a cult classic for the ages. Just like hundreds of movies before her. Its a great feeling to know that weve all been a part of something so awesome. I know i say this alot to you guys, but i honestly think that you all kick some majorly major ass in a major fucking way.

Now as far as there being more than one monster in exsistence, yes, i believe firmly that there is. If not, how did Clover come to be ,know what i mean? I honestly think there is a mommy n daddy Clover out there, 5 times baby clovey’s size, and they’re pissed. Baby clovey ran away from his deep sea spongebob-esque home, and went lookin for new friends, and sometime in the future, moms n pops are gonna come lookin for him. Thats just a theory though.

What im also really curious about is the manga. Its starting to tie into the ARG really well, what with the transcript that was in the USGX website. They were talking about trying to use the (blanked out) but it didnt work. Im assuming that they were talking about the “pod” inside of Kishin that controls MGP (which is CRAZY FUCKIN INSANE, i almost lost it when i read that there was actually a device of some sort that controls MGP, fuckin NUTS!!), and this is kinda leading me to believe that kishin was killed so that tagruato could get their hands on the pod so they could control MGP for themselves — enter the ARG, beginning at the chuai station, where tagruato dragged MGP from the shores of japan, and caged him up under the station (sounds farmiliar? kinda like my theory from about 3 months ago eh?? lol!) anyways, ill post again soon, i gotta switch computers now.

They don’t like anything like him, from color to actual shape. They said the bomb, “Ultimately” kills him, meaning it probably would wound him and then he’d bleed to death or something. The photo we know about has to be showing whales or something, they’re all over the place and look like they’ve been ripped apart, one has an actual bite mark in it.

A week later, my friend gets a private message from Bill himself, saying that yes, its a gamejack, its fake, and please take his phone number off of the forums, because people are calling his house. he then proceeded to apologize for making the fake site, and left. Naw, MGP came from like 10 different websites. It started on somebodies countdown thingy till the movie released, and then it spread to UF and then to here.
What i meant by that was, somebody was using a counter that said “102 Days, 56 Minutes, 25 Seconds til’ Mr. Grumpy Pantz Starts Tearin’ up New York!!”, and it just kinda spread like wildfire. I still kinda like the theory that O.B.U.M is his real name (One Big Ugly Motherfucker). That would be kinda cool, seeing as how we dont have an official name for the bastard yet, and people are starting to call him fucking FLUFFY, and CLOVER, and fuckin LOVECOCK McJONESEY. Yeah, I just checked it out, and let me say, THAT IS THE SICKEST DEATH FOR A MONSTER I HAVE EVER SEEN! It apparently eats the device that controls it, then starts going insane because its its own host now, begins to psychologically deteriorate, and then just runs off to the ocean and dies.
Now its actual death is the disturbing part; it basically withers up, inflates, and becomes some kind of large, bloated tissue mass, and for all I know it blows up, too.
So we have a mother and an infant, and JJ kills them both. Very nice, Abrams. What would you like to do next, expose King Kong true orientation?

let me just add somethin in case you guys didnt catch it.
When it hit the ocean and started goin all spongey, it absorbed into this sacky thing. Now, looking around the sacky thing, you can see about 20 other sacky things. which draws us to the assumption that THERE IS WAY MORE THAN ONE MGP. I mean, we know for a fact that only one attacked New York, but in this comic, if it is directly related to the story line, there was a shitload of those placenta lookin things. and they were all attached to some giant vein lookin thing. I would love to see what the giant veiny thing is attached to. What if it was attached to some typa HOST kinda MGP MAMMA MONSTER, u know what i mean? like in AVP1, how the QUEEN alien was 100 times bigger than the drone aliens, and she just kinda sat there an plopped out eggs from her aliegina. it would be FUCKING TIIIIIIIGHT if there was some GIGANTIC mgp just sittin down in some trench just ploppin out baby monsters.
Another theory is this– I wanna see the other “drilling stations” that Tagruato has up. The Chuai station had Giant .50 cal gun turrets all pointed downward at the ocean. Which once again, leads me to assume that they have known about MGPs and have kept them encaged somehow and the guns were a precaution in case one woke up and tried to get out. Now the reason i wanna see all the other stations, is because if they all have these gun turrets hooked up, this would form a whole new theory about Tagruato, that they have monsters underneath every station, and Ganu Yoshida has some type of plan for the future to take over the world. Maybe he even let loose one mgp to show the world what they can do, and soon hes gonna address the world and basically hold it ransom, sayin that if we all dont do what Tagruato says, hes gonna unleash MGP’s all over the world. Now THAT would make for an awesome movie.

Nice theories K1Ng, but I’ll have to bring a few things up.
With the first theory, you said the monster becomes withered and attached to some kind of network of others of its kind, right? To me, it looked like that was the entire monster itself, and the “Eggs” that were emerging were various victims of MGP coming out in orbs, or some kind of special digestive pallets of some kind. That would explain why Kishin ended up floating in the ocean afterwards.
With the second one, here’s the problem: Ganu already controls the world
Seriously, the concepts of him and world domination need to end somewhere, his company is a green-lover, he controls the kid-happy slusho corporation, and he’s one of the world’s most wealthy men. The only people that really have more control than him are the G8 world leaders, and he’s really not going to blow that with a monster that isn’t entirely pressure-proof. It’s like saying, “I’m about to win this marathon. Everyone else is behind me, and I’m in the top ten finishers. The only person ahead of me is this man in a wheel-chair, so I can’t lose! But I feel like it anyway, so I’m going to go cheat and jam his wheels.”
I’m pretty sure that Ganu is cautious, if aware, of the monster.
As for me, my idea is that the missile that hit MGP was some kind bio-weapon that killed MGP via chemical breakdown. The impact looked like it stained his skin, damaged it, and after it retreated to the ocean, the chemicals the missile may have released began to destroy MGP at a molecular level. If you can’t bring something down with firepower and explosives, chemical approaches are the next best tactic to use, so that may have been the military’s idea to begin with.
Still, It’s kind of funny how when everything’s destroyed, and MGP retreats, one left over soldier picks up a rocket launcher and goes, “Ok, here goes nothing, and I should be running, cause I’m going to die here now, but I don’t care, so BOMBS AWAY!!!1!1″ The next thing you know, he hits MGP right in the eye, it ignores him and runs off into the ocean, and no one ever hears of or sees it again. And he’s just standing there all “ZOMG, IT ACTUALLY WORKED!”
